5 Ingredient Chicken Pie
Ingredients
1 Shredded BBQ chicken
3 - 6 sheets of puff pastry
Can of condensed cream of chicken soup
3 diced short bacon rashers
1 cup of grated cheese
Process
1. Pre heat oven to 190 degrees Celsius
2. Fry bacon until golden brown
3. Lay out at least 3 frozen puff pastry sheets, so they can defrost
4. Place chicken into bowl and mix with can of soup, season with salt & pepper
5. Once bacon is cooked, drain on paper towel and add to chicken mixture. Combine well
6. Spray muffin tin or individual pie tins with oil spray, and oil soaked paper towel
7. Cut one piece of puff pastry into a square that will fit the size of your tin, leaving some over hang of pastry so the top piece can joined with the bottom.
8. Push down the pastry into holes of the tin, then fill with chicken mixture and sprinkle with grated cheese
9. Cut another square of puff pastry and lay over the top of the pie you have just filled. Start with one corner and fold over the top of pastry hanging over the edge from the bottom later. Pinch the edges together and fold over each other, continue around the edge until all edges are joined together.
10. Continue until you have used all of your chicken mixture. Once complete use a knife and add 2 small scores to the top of your pies
11. Optional - coat pies in egg wash
12. Bake pies for approximately 30 minutes or until pastry is golden brown
